SR. MANAGER, PRODUCT MARKETING AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCER AND
DESIGNER
IXI Mobile, Inc.
Redwood City, CA
www.ixi.com
2/2001 – 8/2005 |
IXI’s fast-paced startup presented particular
challenges for rapid development of proprietary products. As the
third joining member of the IXI product team, my initial
undertaking was to work with IXI principles and technology
innovators and to invent solutions that employ the company’s
proprietary Personal Mobile Gateway (PMG) including; market
research, product positioning, and competitive analysis to
identify lucrative product opportunities for IXI’s charge to
market. I create product propositions and translate them into
definitions and requirements (PRD, MRD, and SRS). Typically
includes comprehensive multimedia simulations to test and
analyze user experience specifics including GUI/MMI and ID, and
aid customers in finalizing features and make production
commitments.
After production commitment, I assume the role of Executive
Producer and Product Designer for the creation of audio, GUI art
assets, and Interaction and navigation including proprietary
Man-Machine-Interfaces (MMI) and ID. I was responsible for
documentation and data base releases to IXI and outside
engineering organizations for system software implementation and
product hardware tooling/manufacturing.
My key roles are; 1) Interfacing with high profile
telecommunication customers and partners to define products, and
execute design and development of hardware and software
according to launch plans. 2) Responsibility for successfully
implementing critical user experience related features including
engineering of custom displays, MMI control interfaces and
plastic enclosures.
